John McGurk

John McGurk is Partner of Flint Residential, where he leverages his extensive professional background to enhance residential and multifamily development projects nationwide. His career encompasses significant roles, including serving as a shareholder at Polsinelli, a prominent national law firm, where he honed his expertise in real estate and business law. Transitioning to public service, McGurk held the position of Chief of Staff for Kansas City, MO Mayor Sly James. In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in advancing major city initiatives and fostering effective public-private partnerships, including construction of the first fixed-rail transit system in the city in over 60 year and the planning for a single terminal at Kansas City Internation Airport.

 

Most recently, he managed operations in the western United States for a mixed-use development company, where he successfully sourced and oversaw development of 5,000 units totaling over $1 billion in investment and expanded the company's footprint in the region. John brings with him a wealth of experience and proven track record of success to advance the residential and multifamily development projects nationwide for Flint Development.
